73% Grenache, 27% Bushvine Mataro - Krondorf Vineyard, Barossa Valley. Organically farmed, single vineyard. Vines planted in 2014, 1999, 1903. Soil: Sandy loam over heavy red clay over marl with a calcareous subsoil. 13.3% Alc.
 
Tasting Notes: Medium bodied, brambly red currant fruits and musky cola.  Star anise and white pepper.  Savoury structural core of Mataro supporting the ferrous red fruits of the Krondorf Grenache.  A lovely balance of drinkability with complexity and structure.
